Hancock Courier - Feb.13, 1863
Secesh Trophy - There is new exhibiting at Charlie Hall's Saloon, a Regimental Flag, captured by the 57th Ohio Regiment
at the battle of Post Arkansas, from a Texas Regiment from near Shrevesport, Texas. The flag is made of flannel, and
contains eleven stars on what was once a blue field, until it faded out, and has inscribed on the middle (white) stripe the
words "Wilson * Guards."
